Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service in fine dining or nightclub settings
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including serving in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/host duties, or cashiering is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding guest services with enthusiasm and professionalism
