Position: Shipping / Receiving Associate
Job Location: New Berlin, WI
Starting Date: Immediate
Employment Term: Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift): 1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Starting Pay: $20 an hour
Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience: 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience
Job Summary
As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing bills of lading and forms, loading/unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming inventory, materials, and POs.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
- Prepare bills of lading and shipping forms.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
- Forklift certified or willing to become certified.
- Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy.
Work Environment:
- Hot conditions (all seasons)
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs (team assist available).
- PPE Required: Safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, long sleeves, and safety toe shoes.
