We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk with a background in electrical assembly for our Lomira client. Your hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be a huge asset in this role as you'll already be familiar with the products they build and the importance of accuracy.
Position – Shipping/Receiving
Job Location – Lomira, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm)
Starting Pay – $20.00
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – 2 years of experience in a shipping role
In this position, you'll play a critical part in the operations, ensuring that all finished products are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped on time. You'll be the final stop before the products reach the customers, so your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Verify and inspect finished electrical products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Securely pack products to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials and finished goods.
- Assist in general warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
