This position requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining accuracy and organization.ResponsibilitiesPrepare orders for freight, parcel, and express shipments following proper procedures.Create bills of lading, packing lists, and all required shipping documentation.Coordinate imports/exports, track shipments, and update shipping schedules.Accurately package, label, and identify outgoing orders by quantity, size, and part number.Prepare packing slips and ensure proper documentation for customers.Enter transactions into the computer system and maintain accurate records.Assist with assembly, labeling, and basic production tasks when needed.Receive incoming materials; verify accuracy against purchase orders and receiving slips.Inspect, store, and deliver materials promptly to the production floor.Address shipping and receiving questions with internal teams and customers.Load trucks and prepare daily shipping reports.Collaborate with team members to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.QualificationsExperience creating bills of lading and packing lists.UPS Worldship experience preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred.Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for verifying counts and documents.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.Knowledge of a machine shop environment a plus.Please send your resume to waukesha@seekcareers.com.
