Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday (1:00 PM – 11:30 PM), 4 x 10-hour shifts with Fridays off
Starting Pay – $22-$25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience – 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
As a Warehouse Shipper, you will be responsible for locating, picking, and preparing customer orders safely and accurately for outbound shipment. You will load and unload trucks, verify product quality and paperwork, and use inventory computer systems to track materials. This fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable attendance to meet daily delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders from stock or staging areas by hand, hand cart, pallet jack, sitting fork truck, or standing cherry picker.
- Pack, crate, shrink-wrap, and properly label products for shipment according to carrier specifications and division procedures.
- Load outgoing products onto trucks and unload incoming materials, safely placing inventory into designated storage locations.
- Receive domestic and international shipments, verify quantities and paperwork against the ERP system, and utilize inventory scan guns.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and tools including poly banders, air hammers, chop saws, and cranes while maintaining a clean workstation.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience, including prior forklift operation handling high lifts and oversized pallets in tight spaces.
- Basic computer skills to navigate Microsoft programs, inventory scan guns, and ERP software.
- Strong basic mathematical skills (decimals, fractions, and units of measurement) to perform precise counts and inspections.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift 50 lbs throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety compliance.
