Screen Printing Inspector
We are seeking a detailed-oriented and quality-focused Printing Screen Inspector to join our client’s manufacturing production team in Berlin, WI. In this key quality control role, you will be responsible for inspecting prepared screen printing frames and mesh assemblies prior to press setup. You will serve as the primary line of defense to ensure screen alignment, emulsion coverage, image clarity, and mesh tension meet precise technical and customer specifications before production runs begin.

Starting Pay – $17/hr
Required Experience – At least 1 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Screen Inspection & Verification
- Defect Identification: Check for pinholes, emulsion breakdown, mesh tears, emulsion thickness variations, distortion, debris, and improper image registration.
- Screen Prep & Touch-Up: Apply precision block-out materials, tape screen borders, and perform minor pinhole touch-ups on approved screens to prepare them for production presses.
- Measurement & Testing: Use mesh tension meters, optical comparators, and measuring instruments to verify tension levels (Newtons) and image dimensions against job specs.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Prior experience in printing or quality is helpful
- Good eye for color matching is also needed
