Position: Sanding & Deburring Operator
Shift: 1st Shift
Monday through Thursday; 7:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday 7:00 am to 11:00am
Location: Woodville, WI
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable Sanding and Deburring Operator to join our 1st shift manufacturing team in Woodville, WI. You will be responsible for removing sharp edges from metal parts using sanding and deburring equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate sanding, deburring, tumbling, and/or buffing equipment to finish metal parts
- Remove sharp edges and ensure parts meet quality standards
- Change sanding and buffing wheels using basic hand tools such as wrenches
- Keep work areas organized and track materials used in the process
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to quality and detail
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and oils
- Standing, bending, and lifting required throughout the shift
- Fast-paced, hands-on position with moderate to high physical activity
- Regular lifting of 50–75 pounds (mechanical lifting assistance available)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Basic reading, math, and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team
