Production Operator
Location: River Falls, WI
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, overtime on Friday
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team in River Falls, WI. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, supporting production processes, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment safely and effectively
- Start up, operate, and shut down extrusion and manufacturing lines
- Set up materials, equipment, and production paperwork
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operating issues
- Maintain compliance with all safety and housekeeping procedures
- Load and unload trucks and raw materials as needed
- Report material shortages, quality concerns, and equipment issues to supervisors
- Assist with additional production and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer and math skills required
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials regularly
- Forklift experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment
