If you’re a diesel or trailer tech who likes working independently, solving problems in real time, and not being stuck in the same shop every day, this role is for you.
We’re hiring a Mobile Service Technician to handle on-site repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics across multiple locations. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, manage your workload, and keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair tractor and trailer issues in the field
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete DOT and company-required safety documentation
- Manage repair orders, parts, and basic inventory tracking
- Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and software to troubleshoot issues
- Handle a wide range of repairs (electrical, brakes, suspension, tires, etc.)
- Work independently while staying connected with the team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with diesel engines, trailers, or heavy equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Willingness to travel between service areas (Cudahy, Waukesha, Caledonia)
- Own tools preferred

Physical & Work Environment
