Second Shift Lead / Supervisor – Step Into a Leadership Role!
Full-Time | 2nd Shift (approx. 2:30PM – 11 PM)
Hiring Immediately
Ready to take charge of a fast-moving production floor? We’re looking for a hands-on, energetic Second Shift Lead/Supervisor who can keep workflow smooth, quality tight, and the team motivated. If you’re the person others naturally turn to for answers — and you love solving problems on the fly — this is your next move.
What You’ll Do
Own the Shift
- Run the floor with confidence and keep production on track.
- Lead, coach, and support your team to hit daily goals.
- Jump in on setups, kitting, assembly, and shift changeovers.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Spot bottlenecks before they slow things down — and recommend solutions.
Champion Quality
- Perform or oversee in‑process checks and documentation.
- Complete required reports, including First Article Inspections.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or detailed work instructions with ease.
- Ensure every part meets quality, safety, and customer standards.
Use Your Technical Know‑How (varies by department)
- Perform or guide soldering, crimping, mechanical or electrical assembly.
- Operate, adjust, or set up production machinery or crimping equipment.
- Use micrometers, calipers, rulers, magnifiers, and related measuring tools.
- Run test fixtures and support continuity or hi‑pot testing when needed.
Keep It Safe & Organized
- Maintain a clean, efficient work area.
- Follow all safety and machine shutdown procedures.
- Model the kind of attitude and work ethic others want to follow.
What You Bring
- 3–4 years of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Leadership experience preferred — or the drive and ability to step up.
- Strong blueprint/print-reading skills (department dependent).
- Solid troubleshooting instincts and practical decision-making.
- Reliable, proactive, and confident communicating with all levels.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs (depending on department needs).
- High school diploma required; additional technical training is a plus.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll be the go‑to person on second shift — helping newer team members grow, keeping production running smoothly, and playing a key part in the success of the department. With internal promotions and growth happening, this is a chance to step into a leadership path with real impact.
