Our expanding Appleton client is looking to add a facilities assistant to their growing team. If you enjoy a position where you are constantly multi-tasking and going from task to task, this is the job for you!

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $20
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
As a Facilities Assistant / Maintenance Associate, you will create and execute maintenance plans for production equipment and machinery. You will also partner closely with the Facilities Manager on building maintenance, project planning, and daily workplace operations to keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance plans using our software maintenance program for key production machinery, including printing presses, conveyor dryers, screen-making equipment, and screen reclaim equipment.
- Facility & Grounds Care: Perform indoor and outdoor building maintenance, including painting, flooring, ceiling tiles, and seasonal snow removal.
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts to lift, stage, move, and lower pallets, skids, barrels, and boxed inventory throughout the storage and production areas.
- Operations Support: Handle waste management (garbage, cardboard, recycling, and compactor operation). Set up and tear down meeting rooms, install workstations/partitions, and assist with inter-office moves.
- Associate Amenities: Manage the inventory of cleaning and paper supplies, and help prepare refreshments (coffee, popcorn, nachos, etc.) for our team.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with outside contractors on specialized projects, participate in professional development training, and cross-train to help in other areas when time allows.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High school diploma OR equivalent experience (defined as at least 1 year of continuous longevity with a single employer in a full-time capacity).
- Licensing & Certifications: A valid driver’s license is required. Forklift certification is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a 12-foot step ladder, and perform active physical labor indoors and outdoors.
- Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
