Bindery Operator/Inspector
Position – Bindery Operator/Inspector
Job Location – Sussex, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Regular, Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd Shift (8:00pm – 6:00am)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $12 per hour, $35,000 Annual Salary

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
-Follows standard operating procedures concerning techniques, materials used, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
-Achieves bindery objectives increasing efficiencies: increased throughput; increased set-up efficiencies; decreased indirect time. Proactively identifies, communicates and acts to eliminate scheduling and/or capacity issues maximize bindery utilization capacity.
-Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
-Perform all bindery functions as noted on work order/job tickets. This may include: folding, cutting, padding, slitting, numbering, and wrapping
-Process handwork assembly according to specifications.
-Package jobs, complete work orders, tickets, and delivery receipts as necessary and place in their assigned areas
Qualifications
-At least 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
-HS Diploma/GED required
-Strong interpersonal skills, attendance, work ethic, and attention to detail required
-Basic math skills and ability to read/follow instructions is required
