POSITION – Assembly Operator I
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm). Overtime is dependent on business needs.
STARTING PAY – $17.00 to $19.00 per hour or more (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Minimum 2 years previous work in a manufacturing setting or as an Assembly Operator is desired, prefer work in injection molding or other mechanical assembly
As an Assembly Operator you will assemble work-in-progress parts into finished products using various methods such as sonic welding, heat staking, and gluing.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components to create finished products using standardized work instructions and diagrams
- Conduct visual and functional inspections to verify products meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify and report defects or process issues, collaborating with the team to implement solutions
- Operate assembly machinery and tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate production and quality records, including checklists and reports
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers
- Aim to meet or exceed production goals while minimizing downtime
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support smooth workflow and productivity
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain optimal performance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assembly Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of machine operation and routine maintenance
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation
- Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and protocols
