Position Summary
We are seeking a talented part-time Floral Designer who shares our commitment to quality, customer service, and artistic expression. If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact through floral design, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design floral arrangements following established recipes and create custom arrangements within budget and available product.
- Create arrangements for a range of occasions, including funeral pieces and events.
- Assist walk-in customers with selecting and customizing floral designs tailored to their needs, keeping both budget and design considerations in mind.
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone, answering questions, taking orders, and advising on floral pieces for specific occasions.
- Support general shop operations, including processing flowers, managing the cooler, caring for plants, and general cleaning as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in floral design.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
