Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation among students
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly
- Support early intervention initiatives by identifying children’s developmental needs and collaborating with specialists when necessary
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, milestones, and areas for improvement
- Incorporate literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and other subject areas into daily activities to promote well-rounded development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and student achievements in compliance with school policies
- Ensure child welfare and safety by adhering to childcare regulations and best practices in toddler care, preschool experience, and daycare settings
Qualifications
- A degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field
- Proven classroom experience working with children across various age groups, especially in preschool or daycare environments
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques
- Experience with curriculum development tailored to early intervention, literacy education, math instruction, and special education needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities and differentiated instruction for diverse learners
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education
- Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and fostering an inclusive learning environment
