Our client, a well-established HVAC and plumbing wholesale distributor serving Fairfield County and the surrounding area, is seeking an Account Manager to join their growing team. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with HVAC and plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors, builders, and commercial customers. Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business through exceptional customer service and product knowledge. Prepare quotations, process orders, follow up on customer inquiries, and coordinate with inside sales, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay current on HVAC and plumbing products, equipment, accessories, and industry trends while providing technical product recommendations and solutions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, industrial, or wholesale distribution is strongly preferred. Experience in outside sales, account management, contractor sales, or inside sales with customer-facing responsibilities is highly desirable. Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation & Benefits
