Job Summary:
We are seeking an engineering candidate with strong SolidWorks capabilities to support laser and press brake operations. This role will focus on creating CAD drawings, preparing layouts for production, and generating customer quotations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a direct Hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for their robust benefits package.
Key Responsibilities (in a snap-shot):
- Create and modify CAD drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop layouts and flat patterns for laser cutting and press brake operations
- Prepare and review customer quotations
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure accurate specifications
- Review drawings for accuracy, material requirements, and manufacturability
- Maintain documentation and drawing revisions
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks required
- Experience with laser cutting and/or press brake operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus
