Cash Posting Specialist
Long-Term/Potential Temp - Hire
Location: Near Rancho Bernardo
Monday - Friday ~ 7:30A - 4P or 8A - 5P TBD
Responsibilities Include:
Process and apply incoming cash to open items in accounts receivable
Run credit card payments and apply payments
Reconcile applied cash
Data Entry
Research and apply cash daily for the lockbox, EFTs, and ACH downloads.
Research and process Chargebacks daily.
Prepare write-up for credit card chargebacks and submit to merchant in a timely manner.
Follow up on any outstanding issues and post into ERP system.
Update Direct Debit forms
Copy live checks and attachments for other departments as required.
Research unidentified cash and apply or forward information to other departments for follow up as needed.
Enter adjustments to cash on account.
Enter write-off, discounts, and apply credits when appropriate.
Balance Accounts as back-up support.
Requirements Include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year cash application experience.
AR Experience
Good Data Entry Experience
Accounting Knowledge and/or experience.
Strong PC experience including Word and Excel.
Detailed oriented.
Must be able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting 20 hours a week
Walking 1-10 hours a week
Standard hearing and visual with ability to read printed material
No protective clothing or equipment required
Compensation: $23.00-$25.00/hr DOE
