Sedona Permanent Jewelry is a high-energy, interactive jewelry boutique located in the heart of Uptown Sedona.

We specialize in custom permanent jewelry using high-quality 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, rose gold, and mixed-metal chains. We also offer professional ear and nose piercings, custom engraving, clasped jewelry, and a full charm bar.

Our guests come to us for more than jewelry. They come to celebrate vacations, friendships, birthdays, anniversaries, family moments, and other meaningful occasions. Our goal is to make every visit personal, exciting, and memorable.

About the Position

We are hiring a confident, outgoing, and highly motivated Spark Artist to join our team three days per week.

This is a commission-based sales role. Your earning potential will depend on your ability to engage customers, recommend products, upsell services, and confidently close sales. You must be comfortable approaching people, starting conversations, explaining our services, and helping guests build personalized jewelry combinations.

We are looking for someone who works quickly, stays focused, and remains accurate during busy periods. You must be reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute during every shift.

This role requires a hustler mentality. You cannot wait behind the counter for customers to approach you. You will actively engage with guests, connect with people walking by the store, and look for opportunities to generate sales.

You must also be a strong team player who communicates clearly, supports coworkers, and steps in wherever needed.

This position requires weekend availability and a willingness to work during Sedona’s slower tourism seasons.

What You Will Do

• Welcome and engage every guest who enters or walks by the boutique.
• Confidently approach potential customers and introduce our products and services.
• Build genuine connections through conversation, product knowledge, and attentive service.
• Help customers select chains, charms, connectors, engraved items, and custom jewelry combinations.
• Explain our permanent jewelry, piercing, engraving, clasped jewelry, and charm bar services.
• Perform permanent jewelry applications quickly, safely, and accurately.
• Use strong upselling skills to recommend charms, additional bracelets, matching pieces, upgrades, gifts, and group experiences.
• Confidently guide customers toward purchasing decisions and close sales.
• Handle multiple customers efficiently during busy periods.
• Maintain accuracy without sacrificing speed or customer service.
• Assist with engraving orders and custom jewelry requests.
• Help coordinate piercing customers and support the piercing area as needed.
• Process payments, manage appointments, and answer customer questions.
• Keep the boutique clean, organized, polished, and guest-ready.
• Restock chains, charms, jewelry, supplies, and displays.
• Support teammates during rushes and throughout the workday.
• Create social media content when requested.
• Stay productive during slow periods by cleaning, organizing, restocking, learning products, creating content, engaging foot traffic, and finding ways to generate business.

Qualifications

• Previous jewelry experience is not required. We will train the right person.
• One to two years of retail, hospitality, restaurant, beauty, or customer-facing sales experience is preferred.
• Strong sales or upselling experience is highly preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• You must be comfortable standing, speaking with guests, and remaining active throughout your shift.
• Strong attention to detail and good vision are required for precise jewelry work.
• Basic math, retail math, and cash-handling skills are preferred.
• Content creation experience is a plus.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
