PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To develop, maintain and support software in a Salesforce / Windows Server environment using integrated development environments like Visual Studio/Code or similar technologies. This position will support and expand solutions developed using Salesforce, VB.NET Middleware and SQL Server. This role involves supporting existing applications and data flow between external systems via API/SFTP, middleware processing servers and Salesforce. Salesforce Maps, Salesforce Field Service Lightning, and Salesforce Community expertise highly desirable. Position will also provide Salesforce Administration and Web Server support and act as liaison between business and IT Support Teams. ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE? ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE Gain deep familiarity with key application modules, including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, IIS Servers, SQL Servers and Salesforce Environment. Analyze user needs and assist in designing specifications to meet those needs. Develop and modify software based on data processing requests. Ensure compliance with insurance carrier and regulatory requirements through software development. Test and debug assigned projects; assist in testing projects developed by other team members. Prepare and maintain documentation for new and existing software. Investigate and resolve escalated support issues, including data and software corrections. Troubleshoot and investigate issues that may arise with IIS Servers, SQL Database or network infrastructure. Stay current with advancements in programming languages, frameworks, and emerging software development technologies. Follow departmental standards and guidelines for software design and development. Deliver and maintain high-quality customer service. Be a team player and will need to be proactive at problem solving Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of Windows Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, SQL Proficiency in: Salesforce / Salesforce Maps / Field Services Lightning Module VB.NET/C#/.NET Core SQL Server Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Familiarity with: Power APP/Automate and Power BI (a plus) Salesforce APEX Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university highly desirable.
