Specific Duties
- Work from operating process record, prints and methods sheet, and instructions
- Check material received for proper specifications
- Carry out quality checks in line with procedure
- Load and unload printing press with raw material paper rolls
- Set up plates and ink to run production
- Work with other department team members to achieve production targets
- Look for opportunities to increase efficiency and minimize waste
Qualifications:
- Previous experience Flexographic Printing Knowledge, water-based ink systems preferred
- High speed machine operating experience
- Strong math skills (measurements, percentages, calculate footage, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain an organized work area
4. Physical Demands (Required for Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted
- Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift
- Comfortable working in noisy and loud environments
- Wear all required PPE and follow safety practices as instructed
