Security Officer Armed Orlando

SECWORLDWIDE is hiring well trained, experienced, ARMED Security Officers in Orlando for various posts.

Shift times vary but must be able to work weekends:

10PM-6AM (8hrs)

12AM-8AM (8hrs)

10PM-8AM (10hrs)

Tasks:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot and in vehicle, monitoring & inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points using check point scanner via digital Guard Management apps
• Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders (duties may vary depending on post orders)
• Establish working relationships with staff, residents, visitors, local law enforcement and fire departments
• Perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area
• Maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service
• Submit detailed activity reports
• Watch for irregular and unusual conditions, that may create security concerns
• Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations

The ideal candidate will:

• Be on time for duty (5-10 minutes before shift start)
• Report to post in full uniform
• Maintain professional image, greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner and has strong customer service skills.
• A security officer is to be well-disciplined, follows orders

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid D and G FL State Guard license required 
• Must be FLUENT IN ENGLISH
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen
• Minimum 3 months prior experience in the security field
• CPR and First Aid certification is a must
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
