Job Summary
We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while responding effectively to any incidents that may arise. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in law enforcement and conflict management to prevent loss and protect property.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing assistance during emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Familiarity with security protocols, conflict management techniques, and surveillance systems is essential.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience in loss prevention or crisis intervention will be considered an asset.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective reporting and collaboration.
