Job Summary
Reporting to the President/Owner, the Human Resources Manager facilitates the human resources, general business management and compliance processes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Participate in company leadership team meetings by representing the Human Resources function and ensuring the voice of the employees is heard and consideration is given to address any concerns.
2. Assists with recruitment, application, interview, and onboarding processes. Tracks status of applicants and candidates.
3. Administers insurance plans and 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
4. Coordinates the onboarding of new employees to ensure required forms are completed, and background and drug screens are completed per company policy.
5. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate recordkeeping and proper deductions.
6. Prepares new employee files, ensures employee records are kept confidential, and maintains employee records during the required record retention period.
7. Document, track and communicate the organizational performance metrics.
8. Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
9. Assists management in addressing employee relation matters.
10. Prepares documentation for disciplinary action.
11. Monitors training compliance and provides reports to management.
12. Assists with processing of terminations ensuring all records are updated and the appropriate communications have been documented.
13. Conducts compensation reviews.
14. Reviews timekeeping records to ensure payroll is accurate.
15. Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other programs and takes corrective action.
16. Ensures appropriate policies are in place.
17. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a job-related major preferred.
2. At least two (2) years of related experience required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
