Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify prospective clients and expand the customer base through direct outreach, networking, and community engagement
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to recommend suitable life insurance policies aligned with clients’ financial goals and circumstances
- Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and premium rates to close sales effectively while ensuring client understanding and satisfaction
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and clear communication throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
- Stay informed about industry trends, insurance regulations, and product updates including health, property casualty, and commercial insurance policies
- Collaborate with team members on sales administration tasks such as benefits administration, compliance documentation (including HIPAA regulations), and follow-up procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on client communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of life insurance products along with familiarity in health insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance concepts
- Strong analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively
