Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role is based in Birmingham, AL. The Insurance Agent will meet with individuals and families to assess their life insurance needs, present suitable preneed, final expense, and related products, and guide clients through policy selection and enrollment. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads, conducting consultations in person, explaining product features and benefits, and completing accurate applications and documentation. The Insurance Agent will provide ongoing customer service, including policy reviews, beneficiary updates, and support with claims and billing inquiries. The role also involves working closely with funeral homes and internal teams to ensure seamless service and long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Knowledge of Insurance products, including life insurance and preneed or final expense offerings.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage or similar advisory roles, helping clients compare and select policies.
- Basic understanding of Finance principles to explain premiums, benefits, and long-term value to clients.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, listening, and clear communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Birmingham, AL, with reliable transportation for local client visits.
