Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Position Overview

We are looking for a Human Resources professional who can make a significant impact on our organization through strong leadership, employee engagement, workforce development, and operational support.

The ideal candidate will be Human Resources-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a proven track record as a Human Resource Coordinator. This individual must be a team player capable of working collaboratively with senior leadership, department managers, and employees across the organization.

As the Human Resource Coordinator, you will serve as a vital member of the Corporate Office team, supporting all HR functions while working closely with three Operations Managers to ensure proper staffing, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and workforce planning. The successful candidate will help create and maintain a positive work environment that supports employee success and company growth.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration

  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day Human Resources operations.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and confidential HR records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
  • Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, employee records, and workforce metrics.
  • Assist with policy development, implementation, and updates.

 

Employee Onboarding and Orientation

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for all new hires.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and welcome programs.
  • Ensure completion of employment documents and onboarding requirements.
  • Introduce employees to company policies, procedures, expectations, and workplace culture.
  • Coordinate initial training and compliance requirements.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management.
  • Address employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
  • Assist management with conflict resolution and employee coaching.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist with employee recognition programs and morale-building activities.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage and coordinate company health insurance programs.
  • Assist employees with health insurance enrollment, changes, and benefit-related questions.
  • Process benefit eligibility and enrollment documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and insurance providers.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation.
  • Assist with annual benefits enrollment periods.
  • Communicate benefit updates and available resources to employees.
  • Support administration of additional employee benefits as applicable.

Operations Support

  • Work closely with three Operations Managers to support staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Assist Operations Managers with employee scheduling concerns and personnel matters.
  • Coordinate hiring efforts to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Support operational goals by providing HR guidance and workforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee performance and attendance issues.
  • Help maintain consistent communication between Corporate Office and field personnel.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain employment records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Support workplace investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure proper documentation of employee actions and personnel matters.
  • Stay current on employment law changes and HR best practices.

Security Industry Human Resources Support

  • Maintain security officer licensing and certification records.
  • Track required training and renewal deadlines.
  • Monitor employee compliance with security industry regulations and company standards.
  • Assist with credential verification and personnel compliance requirements.
  • Support workforce readiness and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Proven track record as a Human Resource Coordinator or similar Human Resources position.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Experience managing employee health insurance programs and benefits administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
