Description
Reviews consumer deposit and/or loan documentation to verify compliance with federal, state and internal policies, identifying and correcting errors and omissions whenever possible. Provides feedback to retail staff as well as associated departments (i.e. Deposit Admin, Loan Servicing, Consumer Loans, etc.) to mitigate recurring errors. Monitors credit report transactions. Conducts additional annual and semi-annual monitoring per the Compliance testing schedule.
Main job responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform post-closing file or account reviews and identify compliance violations where applicable. Assures corrective action and assists with developing procedures to preclude recurrence.
· Prepare testing reports for the Bank.
· Coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance to policies and regulations.
2. Stays abreast of National Flood Insurance Program (“NFIP”) rules and manage flood data as needed.
· Follows-up with Loan Officers and Processors to correct errors and omissions.
· Assists with Flood procedure training for all applicable personnel.
· Assists with monitoring the Flood policy.
3. Reviews closed consumer loans to assure compliance with Regulation X and Regulation Z.
4. Reviews and validates closed, denied and withdrawn consumer loans.
5. Conducts additional annual and quarterly testing and risk assessments per the compliance testing and risk schedule, examples provided below but not all inclusive.

· Privacy notifications
· Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (“ARM”) Notifications
· Military Lending Act (“MLA”) requirements
6. Reports and updates status to results of testing activity for findings in testing. Findings should be reported until fully resolved with consideration to automated prevention options and controls. Correcting the individual findings discovered does not achieve this requirement.
7. Assist in the testing of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (“HMDA”) data on commercial loans.
8. Maintains a high level of expertise in all loan operating, platform/core, or other systems used.
9. Assist in pulling/preparation of quarterly Community Reinvestment Act (“CRA”) reports for CRA Officer through available software as/if assigned.
10. Assist with policy/procedure updates.
11. Perform special projects as well as all other duties/responsibilities assigned.
12. Ensure direct management and other affected parties are kept abreast of anything that may deviate from tasks or due dates assigned.
Requirements
Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred. Bi-lingual experience a plus.
