Security Patrol Officer

Central Valley, CA | Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available

Pay Range: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and certifications)

About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Security Patrol Officers serving Central Valley site locations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing careers in law enforcement, emergency medical services, corrections, or the military. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Patrol experience is highly desirable; however, we are committed to training the right candidate. The company covers all costs associated with BSIS certification, including Guard Card, OC Spray, Baton, Taser, and Exposed Firearm permits.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned properties and locations

• Monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or security breaches

• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations in a timely manner

• Prepare detailed written reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and law enforcement

• Work assigned shifts, including graveyard, weekends, and holidays

• Drive a company or personal vehicle to and between assigned patrol locations

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Valid California Driver’s License (driving between patrol sites is an essential function of this role, and alternative transportation is not comparable due to the nature and timing of patrol duties)

• Must be able to obtain a BSIS Guard Card and other relevant certifications (company covers all costs)

• Open and flexible availability, including the ability to work graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and perform effectively under stress

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Sound judgment and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol on foot for extended periods

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to physically respond to security incidents, including the lawful detention of individuals as required

• Must maintain a level of physical fitness necessary to perform patrol duties safely and effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Guard Registration

• Exposed Firearm Permit

• Prior military, corrections, or law enforcement experience

• Current pursuit of a career in military service, law enforcement, or emergency medical services

• College coursework or degree

• Reliable personal transportation to and from assigned duty locations
