Banker / Teller

Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banker/Teller to join our financial institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling various banking transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling, financial services, and retail math to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. The Teller will play a crucial role in building customer relationships and promoting additional services.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle cash operations, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including debits and credits.
• Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on financial services offered.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all banking regulations and compliance policies.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on building customer relationships.
