Security Alarm Systems (SAS) is a locally owned and operated electronic security company specializing in commercial and residential security systems, including burglar alarms (intrusion detection), video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and more. We are growing, and are looking for a Sales Executive who can hunt, build relationships, and close business the right way. This is not an order-taking role. This is a true business development and account management position with strong operational support behind it.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned inbound leads and accounts from initial contact through contract close
- Prospect for new commercial business through targeted outreach and relationship building
- Conduct consistent outbound calling, emailing, and follow-up to generate new opportunities
- Nurture long-term prospects through professional, ongoing communication and consistent follow-ups
- Build relationships with property management companies, commercial property owners, warehouse and facility managers, general contractors, estimators, project managers, and more.
- Identify and pursue negotiated work, bid opportunities, and RFPs in coordination with the Sales Manager
- Conduct onsite walkthroughs and needs assessments for burglar alarm/intrusion detection systems, CCTV / video surveillance systems, access control systems, cabling projects, and more.
- Work with the Sales Manager and operations team to develop accurate proposals and scopes
- Present proposals and follow up professionally until a decision is reached
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including notes, activity, and pipeline status
- Coordinate a clean handoff to operations after contract award
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction, security, low-voltage, or a related industry
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and relationship-driven sales
- Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to learn commercial security systems and sales processes
- Professional appearance and demeanor when representing the company
Compensation & Benefits
- $700/week base pay (or $36,400/year)
- 5% commission on sales closed independently
- RMR commission: 2x Recurring Monthly Revenue
