Job Summary:
Security 101 – Richmond is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall security systems.
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly wage varies from $25.00 to $35.00 non-exempt, commensurate with skills, and experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, PTO and more. Vehicle, laptop, and smart phone.
The Right Candidate:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
- Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
- DCJS Certified
- Must possess a valid driving license and clean Driving Record.
Current certification in one of the following is a plus:
- Access Control: Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, Openpath, Brivo
- Video: Exacq, Milestone, Axis, Avigilon, Genetec, Hanwha
- Intrusion: DMP, DCS
- OSHA certified
- Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Installing, terminating, configuring, and testing Commercial enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management, preferred.
- Leading a team on project installations.
- Managing quality control and providing fanatical customer service
- Taking responsibility for and tracking project progress.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team-oriented work environment.
Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
