Receptionist Security Officer

Receptionist Officer - Full Time

Location: Billerica, MA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm

Pay Rate: $21.14
 

Securitas USA is seeking an organized, customer-service–oriented Receptionist Officer to serve as the first point of contact at a corporate site in Billerica, MA. This position blends front-desk administrative duties with visitor management and basic security functions. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and able to maintain a polished and secure reception environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet employees, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.

• Manage the visitor sign-in/sign-out process, issue badges, and follow established access-control procedures.

• Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and support internal communication needs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

• Coordinate appointments, meeting room reservations, and visitor logistics as needed.

• Monitor lobby activity for safety, security, and policy compliance.

• Assist in managing deliveries, mail distribution, and package handling.

• Maintain accurate logs, records, and daily activity reports.

• Support emergency procedures, including assisting with evacuations or directing visitors during incidents.

• Collaborate with security personnel and site management to uphold corporate security standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior reception, administrative, hospitality, or security experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, scheduling tools, visitor management systems).

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

• Must pass background screening and any required site-specific training.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a corporate or security-focused environment.

• Familiarity with access control or visitor management systems.

• Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities.
