Installation Technician III
As an Installation Technician III at Securitas Technology, you will provide service on ST products at customer sites, handling post-installation problems on security systems and equipment. Your duties will include installing and configuring intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems, running electrical wiring in confined spaces, and testing new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in electronics or electromechanical engineering, with vocational training and relevant certifications. You will also need to be able to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours & weekend emergency calls, and possess excellent customer relationship skills.
- Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems
- Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work
- Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements
- Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery
- Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance
- Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention
- Handle proprietary information and documentation per company policies
- Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training
