We are seeking a highly organized Security Operations Center (SOC) Specialist to oversee daily field operations, monitor guard performance, and ensure seamless scheduling and dispatch coordination.
Position Overview
The SOC Specialist serves as the operational backbone of SECURICO’s guard force, ensuring real-time performance monitoring, efficient scheduling, and proactive problem-solving. This role combines live monitoring of security officers, managing dispatch communications, tracking site coverage, and supporting operational oversight across multiple client regional locations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Oversight
- Continuously monitor live guard activity through tracking software, ensuring posts are covered and duties are being fulfilled.
- Conduct performance checks, verify guard patrols, and document compliance with post orders.
- Serve as the central point of contact for emergency response, escalations, and incident coordination.
Dispatch & Scheduling
- Manage and update the daily schedule to ensure all client locations are properly staffed.
- Dispatch replacement officers and coordinate coverage for call-offs, no-shows, or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of shift changes, schedule adjustments, and coverage solutions.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and document guard attendance, punctuality, and site performance.
- Generate daily operational reports and highlight performance issues for management review.
- Escalate performance concerns to field supervisors and management for corrective action.
Operational Support
- Liaise with the HR and Operations Divisions to align staffing with client requirements.
- Assist in onboarding coordination, site assignments, and operational briefings for officers.
- Uphold SECURICO’s operational standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Proven experience in a security operations center, dispatch, or scheduling environment.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage live monitoring, calls, and scheduling simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in security guard management platforms (e.g., Silvertrac, Trackforce, or similar) and scheduling software.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
- Preferred:
- Experience in the private security industry or similar field.
- Familiarity with performance tracking and incident reporting systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
