Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PCB Engineer to design, develop, and optimize printed circuit boards for electronic products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and signal integrity, along with a solid understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Design and develop PCB layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
- Create and maintain schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and fabrication/assembly drawings
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to ensure design integration
- Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (EMI/EMC, safety, manufacturability)
- Work with manufacturers to support prototyping, testing, and production
- Troubleshoot and resolve PCB-related issues during development and production
- Optimize designs for cost, reliability, and performance
Skills
- Strong project scheduling skills to manage multiple process development initiatives effectively.
- Expertise in root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues.
- Proficiency in CAD software including UCamco, SolidWorks, Creo for designing process layouts and schematics.
- Experience programming PLCs, CNC machines (including CAM programming), robotics automation systems, and vision inspection systems.
- 2 years (or adjust as needed) of PCB design experience
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, UCamCo, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD)
- Strong understanding of circuit design principles and electronics fundamentals
- Experience with multilayer PCB design and high-speed layouts
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (DFM/DFA)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
