Child Supervision Monitor
Contract position - As needed
Location: Travel within 1 hour of Bergen County NJ
Evening and weekend available.
Secure Family Visits Inc. is seeking compassionate, observant, and dependable individuals to serve as Child Supervision Monitors. In this role, you will supervise court-ordered visitation between children and their non-custodial parent, ensuring the safety and well-being of the child while documenting the visit in an objective, professional manner.
We proudly provide all required certification training (24 hours) at no cost to the applicant.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise visitation between children and parents
- Maintain neutrality, safety, and compliance with court or agency orders
- Prepare clear, factual, and timely documentation after each visit
- Report any red flags or concerns to supervision managers immediately
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree
- Strong sense of ethics, maturity, and discretion
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (mileage may be reimbursed)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPR and Mandated Reporter Certification required
- You will receive a free 24-hour certification training program, which includes: Safety protocols. Child abuse reporting. Legal guidelines for supervised visitation. De-escalation and neutrality training. Real-world practice scenarios
You must have:
- Experience in social work, education, law enforcement, counseling, family services
- Bachelor’s degree considered / Masters preferred: coursework (psychology, social sciences)

Base Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
