Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all office areas.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness by sanitizing sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Ensure floors are well-maintained through buffing and appropriate floor care techniques to uphold safety and appearance standards.
- Handle light custodial duties such as window cleaning and surface disinfecting to promote a hygienic environment.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when required, supporting overall building upkeep.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in an office or commercial setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
