What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Representative - Appraisal Service Team position at SECURA Insurance?
This position supports the Auto Physical Damage Claims department by reviewing a variety of vehicle damage estimates. The representative is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving vehicle damage efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

- Reviews, writes and approves auto physical damage estimates. Determines whether a vehicle is repairable.
- Negotiates price and repair methods with vehicle repair shops.
- Corresponds with independent adjusters, repair shops, insureds, claimants, and agents.
- Provides superior customer service for all internal and external customers.
- Assists in reviewing photos and estimates from subrogation demands.
ESSENTIAL:
- 1-3 Years of Auto Physical Damage estimating experience
- Experience with Audatex software
- Good keyboard/PC Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top notch organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Superior customer service and team skills
- Heavy Equipment, Semi-Tractor and Trailer knowledge
- I-Car certifications
- AIC, CPCU, CIC, or ARM designations (or actively pursuing)
- Certificate in General Insurance (or actively pursuing)
- College degree
