This role is designed for attorneys who are comfortable managing files independently while working within a collaborative team of experienced trial lawyers.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a full caseload from intake through resolution, including trial preparation where applicable
- Develop and execute litigation strategy across a variety of defense matters
- Draft and argue substantive motions
- Take and defend depositions independently
- Handle court appearances, mediations, and negotiations
- Evaluate risk, exposure, and case value
- Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
What This Role Requires
- 5–9 years of litigation experience
- Background in insurance defense and experience with Michigan No-Fault PIP/UM/UIM strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage files in a deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with billing practices
- High level of technological literacy, including document management systems
