| Job Duties: | The RN Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting the Executive Director and the President with the overall supervision of the Medically Fragile Program. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to: Plans, organizes, and provides oversight of staff to provide client care; evaluates care and ensures client satisfaction; monitoring and oversight of the houses daily staffing requirements; orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities; provide leadership in clinical problem solving.
Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards, protocols and regulations.
Responsible for assessment and evaluation of clients when discharged from hospital Responsible for SFI Quality Assurance (QA) activities including routine monthly chart reviews and maintaining records and documentation according to policies and procedures of the company. Responsible for oversight of medication administration Deliver nursing consulting services individually or as a member of a consulting team to clients of SFI. Report all medical concerns to the Pediatric Medical Specialist or President Prepare reports and analyses to include budgets, setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Follow up on each child's Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Individual Educational Plans (IEP) on an initial, quarterly and annual basis. May be required to work in place of a nurse if not available to work specific shift. Communicate with Human Resources for employee file updates and ensure all credentials are maintained and updated Required to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment. Attend mandatory in-service training and staff meetings as scheduled Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team in coordination of the clients care as evidenced by other department feedback. |

Experience
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a health care setting, working directly with individuals
- Must possess a working knowledge of COMAR regulations and OSHA guidelines.
Education and Training
- Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Maryland will be required
- CPR and First Aid Certification
Physical/ Working Conditions
- Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and supporting clients.
- Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease and infection from patients and specimens in working environment.
- Incumbent will be required to work at any facility owned by Second Family, Inc. and be responsible for own transportation.

Possess knowledge and ability to do client intake requiring both assessment oli client history concerning boltl short- and long-term needs.
