JOB DUTIES
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Second Family, Inc. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values as well as follow all legal requirements in implementing duties according to policies and procedures. The Human Resources Generalist collaborates closely with the Human Resources Manager to handle various HR responsibilities and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assists with maintaining human resources information system records.
- Efficient in full cycle recruiting, which includes reviewing applications and setting up interviews.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations
- Assist with orientation of new employees
- Monitors employee eligibility for benefit plans, and reviews benefits with employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or Human Resources are a plus)
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
