JOB DUTIES
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Second Family, Inc. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values as well as follows all legal requirements in implementing duties according to policies and procedures. The CMT is under the direction of the RN Supervisor and the LPN to provide all aspects of patient care according to individualized client needs including, but not limited to, medication administration as well as transporting and accompanying individuals to and from appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care per care plans
- Vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Medication administration (per license)
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Will be required to work at any facility owned by Second Family,
Inc. and be responsible for own transportation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Medical Technician Certification
- First Aid and CPR certified by the American Heart Association
- Maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a group home or relevant experience (Preferred)
- Prior experience with medically fragile children or similar demographics (preferred)
