Position Overview:
We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and organized Counter / Front of House team member to work both our farmers market and bakery shifts. This role is customer-facing and fast-paced, and we’re seeking someone who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and be a kind, welcoming presence.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers at the farmers market and bakery with warmth and professionalism
- Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and organized
- Answer guest questions clearly and politely, even during busy times
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and fellow team members
- Assist with setup, packaging, light prep, or other tasks as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Works well under pressure.
- Can be polite and navigate under pressure.
- General interest in guests experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability for weekends (Friday – Sunday) and Tuesdays
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Feel comfortable operating a large vehicle
- Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- Comfortable multitasking and handling a line
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Interest in pastries and hospitality is a bonus
Farmers Market Attendant ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales

Greet customers warmly and provide product information and recommendations.

Answer questions about ingredients, sourcing, preparation, and pricing.

Take orders accurately and handle customer concerns or complaints professionally.

Product Handling

Prepare and assemble food items (if applicable) following safety and quality standards.

Restock displays and ensure products are attractively arranged.

Cash Handling & Transactions

Process payments via cash, card, or digital systems.

Count starting and ending cash drawers (if assigned).

Issue receipts and manage small change efficiently.
Booth Setup & Breakdown

Set up tent, tables, displays, signage, and equipment before market opens.

Break down and pack equipment, supplies, and product at closing.

Brand Representation

Share accurate information about product availability (e.g., only offered on Fridays).

Operational Support
