Position Description: Data Integration Specialist – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.
Location: Doral, FL
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data interoperability, quality, consistency, and schema alignment.
- Build and support APIs for reliable data exchange between systems.
- Work with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to enable data-driven operations.
- Optimize data flows for performance, scalability, and secure access.
- Duties and responsibilities may change based on program needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent data integration experience.
- Experience developing and managing ETL workflows.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources and formats.
- Experience ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Databricks, and SQL-based data warehouses.
- Proficiency with data integration tools, API development, and schema management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience supporting DoD, Combatant Command, or Intelligence Community data environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms in AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with data governance, metadata, and lineage tracking.
- Knowledge of real-time or streaming data integration.
- Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps delivery environments.
Certifications:
- Required: None
- Preferred: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Clearance Requirement:
- Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
