We are seeking a dedicated and passionate instructional coach to join our team at Sebree Elementary School. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and best practices tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions focused on innovative teaching methods and curriculum alignment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum materials and assessments that align with state and national standards.
- Support teachers in analyzing student data to inform instructional decisions and improve student achievement.
- Foster a positive learning environment by promoting a culture of collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement among staff.
- Serve as a resource for teachers in identifying and integrating technology and other educational resources into their instruction.
- Participate in school leadership meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to support a cohesive educational environment.
- Stay current with educational research, trends, and best practices to provide informed guidance and support to staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification and a minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, or professional development.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of educators and staff.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about current educational research and practices.
