Water Quality Automation Technician

What you get to do:
As a Water Quality Automation Technician, you will provide key support for our year-round park operational needs. You will:
- Perform routine inspections of all Water Quality Life Support Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair Water Quality Life Support Systems
- Set up and install systems for new and existing equipment
- Perform bench and field repair
- Plan workload with minimal supervision
- Train others in general system operations and functions
- Strictly adhere to all safety procedures
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- At least two years of electrical controls experience
- Experience working with VFD’s, PLC’s and controllers
- Ability to understand blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and math skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing stairs/ladders and working at heights
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in any weather/temperature condition
- Scheduling flexibility
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a company driver’s license preferred
- Good mechanical and electrical skills required
- Ability to install conduit (PVC, EMT, Rigid) and low voltage raceways preferred
What else is important:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)

Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals - Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
