Description: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Contracted, Exempt

Start Date: March / April 2026

Salary: Base compensation range dependent on prior experience and education $85,000- $100,000

General Description:
The Director of Philanthropy reports to the Superintendent, functions as a member of the Cabinet, and directly leads the development and execution of SCS’s continued philanthropic growth through expanded donor cultivation and stewardship, alumni engagement, annual giving, fundraising opportunities, and donation platform management.

The Director of Philanthropy oversees donor and alumni relationships, coordinating and maximizing fundraising events, event volunteer management, and SCS community engagement. The Director of Philanthropy centers on living out the mission with a grounded, strength of character, maintaining a positive culture of collaboration and productivity, and promoting a vibrant, Christ-centered, and unified workplace.


Desired applicants will meet the following requirements:

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of three years of experiences in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of success in major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and special events
  • Experience leading fundraising strategy development and implementation of fundraising operating plans
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to produce and manage multiple deliverables with overlapping deadlines
  • Leadership approach from a place of confidence, discretion, and collaboration
  • Sense of grace and peace throughout all facets of daily work and personal interactions
  • Excellence and effectiveness in communication, both verbal and written
  • Competence in fundraising software and donor databases

Employment Eligibility:
