We are looking to enhance our Philanthropy program with a dynamic Fund Development Director. This position will be responsible for working with our Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) to complete a Capital Campaign, and to implement a variety of annual and major gift fundraising strategies. The funds raised will be used to enhance and further Kline Galland’s mission. We are looking for a professional who has great passion and enthusiasm for senior care and building community relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Oversee the public phase of the Capital Campaign, by creating and managing a portfolio of donors
Work in collaboration to develop an Annual Giving program – an essential part of the position will be to build the number of current donors, increase their engagement and expand our community network.
Partner with board members and other fundraising volunteers to identify
new donors of means, leveraging networks and relationships of volunteers

The Skills We’re Seeking
- Ability to drive tasks to completion, to rely on problem solving and troubleshooting skills, to manage workflow, and to anticipate time to accomplish ad hoc tasks.
- Ability to collaborate with the Chief Development Officer on strategies and direction of programs.
- Skilled at identifying, recruiting, training and working with development volunteers
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 years of professional development experience in a nonprofit and/or mission driven organization or demonstrated experience working within a client-oriented field, such as banking
- Ability to use a CRM system, similar to Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT.
- Demonstrated experience as a generalist, successfully overseeing annual gifts, major contributions and grant management.
- 5 years of experience with moving donors across the spectrum of prospect development.
- Successful outcomes with leading donor meetings and solicitations through personalized engagement efforts
