Job Summary:
Seastreak is now hiring Sandy Hook Beach Ticket Attendants to greet customers as they arrive and check in e-tickets for departures to NYC. Representatives assigned to work at Sandy Hook will be required to begin their shift at Highlands and then transport themselves to Sandy Hook Beach.
Shifts:
Monday-Friday 7:00am- 12:00pm, 2:30- 4:30 pm
Saturdays-Sundays 7:30am- 2:30pm, 12:30 pm- 8:00 pm
Holidays 7:30am- 2:30pm, 12:30-8:00 pm (Varies by Holiday)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Scanning tickets as passengers board
- Responding to customer questions and inquiries
- Organizing passenger lines
- Assisting customers with purchasing digital tickets
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Experience in customer service (preferred)
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) after being hired. Certain felonies may exclude you from obtaining one.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn and successfully navigate a mobile POS
- Can provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all passengers
- Willingness to familiarize oneself with Seastreak’s current offerings and schedules to best assist customer
